We offer an exciting calendar of events and opportunities to connect small business with the community. In order for the Chamber to continue to offer these events we need volunteers and sponsorships. Volunteers are not only necessary to meet the chamber’s mission, but there are also personal benefits in getting involved. They include: developing leadership skills and growing your self-confidence; increasing your circle of business contacts; receiving publicity and recognition; and making a difference in our region. Participating in a committee or being a resource to one has many rewards – see what the Chamber can do for you and what we can do for each other.
Committees
Event Committee
Our events committee has the pleasure of overseeing the many events we host including Patriots Day Parade, Halloween Parade, Pet Parade, Cookie Walk, Snack With Santa, and others as they pop up! Their creative vision helps to grow our events and make them enjoyable for all.
Networking Committee
Networking committee strives to connect local business entrepreneurs with each other and the local community. The committee is responsible for planning networking events, quarterly Lunch and Learns, Thirsty Thursdays and The Annual Dinner Dance.
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee works to organize and host events that help raise money to augment membership dues to fund Chamber operations. The fundraising includes: Annual Golf Outing, Comedy Show, The Annual Dinner Dance, Veterans Bricks and Graduation Banners.
Membership Committee
In collaboration with Chamber staff, this committee will address the recruitment of new members and retention of existing members.
Farmers Market
Our Farmers Market is held Every Wednesday, June through September from 3-7 p.m. Come check out the huge variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. As well as many other exciting vendors, live entertainment, and fun for all ages
Marketing &
Social Media Committee
The Marketing Committee with the support of the board will define and execute the strategy (including associated processes/procedures and tools) necessary to effectively brand, promote and advance chamber identity, reputation, and events.
**To be eligible for committees, one must be a member business in good standing, or an employee of a member in good standing.
